Within this cultural visitor center for the Adena Mound located in Winchester Kentucky, this project has considered three central themes that will reinforce the Adena culture as well as concepts derived from preliminary research and program demands. These concepts include lighting the space by subtracting solid mass creating programmatic voids as well as maintaining the original procession and shifting along the structural grid. This project was completed in collaboration with Cierra Johnson.
